Tiled and painted walls all over town, many of them in the streets north of the main square.
Look up, and behind you: the murals change from year to year. Many came from ARTURb, a project by LAC (Laboratório de Actividades Criativas) that brings urban artists to Lagos for a residency, followed by public art around the city, guided tours and a catalogue.
The murals spread over several blocks, so wander once you are there. It also makes a relaxed on-lead walk with a dog.
Before you go
Mornings are quiet and cool. In August, walk this before ten or after six. Some murals are on private walls: look from the street.
