Welcome to the Octopus Oasis team! 🎉
We’re so happy to have you on board. Octopus Oasis is a small, personal project that we pour a lot of love into, and having a great cleaning team is the most important part of making it all work.
We’re an Airbnb Superhost and a Superb Booking.com score. Our guests consistently tell us the apartment feels like a real home, not a rental. That’s because of the care that goes into preparing it.
We want this to be a good working relationship for everyone. If you ever need anything, have questions, or want to suggest a better way of doing something, please just reach out.

Four Things That Matter Most
These are the things our guests notice more than anything else:
1. No hair anywhere. Floors, surfaces, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom — everywhere. This is the #1 thing that affects guest reviews. Please take extra care.
2. Check for mould. Bathroom walls, living room corners, behind the yellow armchair. If you spot any, a quick clean with CIF or similar makes a big difference. Lagos gets damp and mould creeps in, catching it early helps a lot.
3. Refill everything. Soaps, shower dispensers, coffee capsules, water bottles, welcome basket, toilet and kitchen paper or items in the bathroom drawers. Guests expect a fully stocked apartment when they arrive.
4. No smudges on glass or mirrors. Shower glass, bathroom mirror, and any glass surfaces should be streak-free and sparkling. Guests notice this immediately.
Cleaning Checklist
